Yulia Arakelyan (Portland), Kathryn Hightower (Seattle), and Kimberly
Kaplan (NYC) met while Dance Majors at the University of Washington. The three budding artists had early success with their first dance projects together, and couldn’t bear to part when two graduated and moved to new cities. For the past three years, they have collaborated via videos, emails, blogs, and late
night phone calls, to create dance that explores “barriers” in all their forms.

The layering is interesting. It would have been nice if there were an layer underneath your body movement the whole time.
